We're looking forward to the start of the new term and welcoming all of our friends back to school.  Remember though, term starts on Tuesday, not tomorrow!  We're on a training course learning new things to share with pupils - enjoy the rest of the holidays!

Following our Harvest Festival today, Mr Leighton, our older School Councillors and 2 friends of the school, Anne & Mick (who live in the local community), took your kind harvest donations to the Towcester Foodbank.  Whilst there, our councillors asked some insightful questions and were shocked to discover the extent of the need for people in our nearby area.  We were pleased when they used the knowledge they had gained about the virtue of community, when discussing what it means to be a volunteer and also with their understanding of how people may find themselves in need of help.  All of the adults involved were pleased at the maturity of the children and the staff were again proud of the children.  It was a lovely day to be a Teacher at Collingtree.
