On Tuesday 22nd May, Mr Brown and a talented group of Year 5 & 6 swimmers attend the School Games swimming gala at Daventry Leisure Centre.  The pupils performed amazingly well; many of them winning the individual races in which they took part.  We have ty and some exceptional swimmers in school, including children who swim for the county and one who has taken part in a national competition.

The event was organised into 3 heats and we confidently won our heat. Unfortunately, due to a complexity in the scoring, we didn’t qualify for the county stages but we are tremendously proud of all of our swimmers who not only per-formed fantastically but who also displayed impeccable behaviour.

On Friday 18th May, we celebrated the Royal Wedding of Harry & Meghan (a day early).  We were blessed with many generous donations and for these we are incredibly grateful to our families.  The children enjoyed tucking into these treats whilst sitting in the glorious sunshine on our grange.  We were also spoiled with an impromptu performance by Miss Starmer and her Glee club who decided to entertain us with a song.

It was a fabulous afternoon and a great way for us to make memories for the children, a great way for them to remember the Royal Wedding - we hope that Harry & Meghan have an equally memorable day!

We aspire to keep our children safe, at school and online...
