Welcome to Field Maples Class...

In Field Maples class you will find our year 2 and 3 children hard at work.  Their class teacher is Miss Bruley and their teaching assistant is Mrs Lee.  In the summer term the class theme is ‘Tales from the Riverbank’ where the children taking a splash into learning all about rivers.  They will find out about rivers around the world and in their local area, find out how rivers are formed and discuss what happens when rivers flood.  Click on the links below to find out about learning in this term and the whole year.

We will start the new school year by looking at number and place value.  Please take a look at the maths knowledge organisers below which will help you support your child at home with their learning.  Please take time to support your child in learning the meaning of the key vocabulary.
