Maths Facts - year 4, year 5 and year 6
Autumn 1:
Year 4: Know number bonds for all numbers up to 100. Count in 25s and 1000s. Read Roman numerals to 100.
Year 5: Know multiplication and division facts for all times tables up to 12 x 12.
Year 6: Know multiplication and division facts for all times tables up to 12 x 12. Multiply and divide numbers including decimals by 10, 100 and 1000.
Autumn 2:
Year 4: Count in 6s. Know multiplication and division facts for the 6x table (up to 12 x 6)
Year 5: Find factor pairs of a number. Read Roman numerals to 1000.
Year 6: Identify common factors of a pair of numbers.
Spring 1:
Year 4: Count in 9s and 11s. Know multiplication and division facts for the 9x and 11x table (up to 12 x 9 and 12 x 11)
Year 5: Identify prime numbers up to 20. Recognise square and cube numbers (squares to 144, cubes to 1000)
Year 6: Identify prime numbers up to 50. Recognise square and cube numbers (squares to 144, cubes to 1000)
Spring 2:
Year 4: Count in 7s and 12s. Know multiplication and division facts for the 7x and 12x table (up to 12 x 7 and 12 x 12)
Year 5: Know the decimal and percentage equivalents of the fractions ¼ ½ ¾ 1, tenths, fifths.
Year 6: Know the decimal and percentage equivalents of the fractions ¼ ½ ¾ 1, eighths, thirds.
Summer 1:
Year 4: Recognise decimal equivalents of the fractions ¼ ½ ¾ , tenths and hundredths.
Year 5: Know decimal number bonds to 1
Year 6: Know decimal number bonds to 1
Summer 2:
Year 4: Multiply and divide 1 and 2 digit numbers by 10 and 100.
Year 5: Know that straight line angles are 1800, and angles around a point total 3600. Know a triangle has angles that total 1800
