This term, we are immersing ourselves in a topic called ‘No Ordinary Journey’ which is all about India.

We will start the term by learning about an Indian boy who becomes a rag picker.  Through this boy, the children will learn about child labour and we will move onto learn about Children’s Rights and Responsibilities.  We will be learning about the diversity found in India through the people and landscape and will be learning about culture and religion too.  The children have already decorated an Indian elephant using old sari fabric and it is now on display in our classroom.

I continue to have high expectations of the children and I will encourage them to achieve their best work, with a big focus on presentation and handwriting this term.

You will find a more in-depth plan of the term detailed on this page.

We aspire to keep our children safe, at school and online...
